Mid lemon yellow. A clear bright fruit on the nose, less reduction. Fuller in the mouth, very even, more white fruit here, the acidity blends in well, no overt oaking though certainly present, good long clean finish. One new barrel in four. Drink from 2025-2031. - JM

The 2021 Chassagne-Montrachet La Boudriotte 1er Cru has an intense nose with orchard fruit and nectarine scents, crushed stone percolating through with aeration. The palate is very well balanced with a pleasing edginess on the entry, fine weight though it just exits swiftly on the finish. But the residual pepperiness on the aftertaste is quite attractive, lemongrass tingling on the tongue afterwards. - VM
