Coming direct from the Domaine's cellars, the 2010 Vosne-Romanée Aux Brûlées 1er Cru puts in an impressive performance. It has a pastille-like purity on the nose, redcurrant and candied orange peel, rose petals and crushed stone. Beautiful delineation. The palate is crisp, almost pixelated, fresh and tensile, with a balletic finish that dances on the tongue. Divine. Drinking perfectly now, but it will certainly keep. Tasted at the La Paulée in Beaune. - VM
